Pastor’s Notes
Hello!
May the New Year bring you and your family abundant blessings of joy and hope.
2010 brought many great changes at The Power Houses. This included an increase in participation in Pizza Church. Thank you for continuing to encourage your child’s attendance each Friday evening.
It’s not too early to start thinking about camp in July 2011. We’re experiencing a dramatic increase in the camp fees. Making sure that your child continues to participate in church regularly is the best way for them to earn a week-long trip to camp in July.
We’re looking toward a great year in 2011. Thank you for your continued trust in helping with your child’s spiritual development.
In Christ,
Pastor Jeff Anderson

Pastor’s Notes
Hello!
The Christmas season is upon us! I hope this month find you filled with Joy, Hope, Love, and Peace.
Throughout the month of December, we’ll be spending time in all our activities at The Power House reviewing the Christmas story from the Bible. Please remind your child to be present each week, especially at Pizza Church on Fridays, to gain a more solid understanding of why we celebrate.
You’ll note, too, that Christmas Eve is on a Friday night this year. Instead of Pizza Church, we have our annual Christmas Eve Service which is open to all ages. Please see information in this newsletter about the service and come join with us in celebration.
Further, New Years Eve is also on a Friday this year. Because of this, we will NOT have Pizza Church that night.
My prayer for you and your family is continued blessings in this season and throughout the new near. Thank you for letting us share in the lives of your family.
In Christ,
Pastor Jeff Anderson

Pastor’s Notes
Hello!
We had a visitor to Pizza Church the last Friday of October. He was a doctor who had gone on several medical missions to Central America. He shared with the kids about his experiences there.
I share this because I want you to know two things. First, we take mission work seriously here at The Power House and find ways for people to engage in it, either by serving in different locations or by donating to groups that do.
Second, we want the kids at Pizza Church to start dreaming of how they might be able to make a difference in our world. It could be through mission work far away or being active in local projects.
Serving others is a critical part of Christian Discipleship. We hope that you, too, will look for ways in which your children can serve the people around them.
In Christ,
Pastor Jeff Anderson

Hello!
Summer is speeding by! I hope that you’ve been able to beat the heat and find some relaxation this busy time of year.

This is a great opportunity to spend some time with people from another country and lean about life in their land.
I appreciate your continued support and look forward to working with your kids.

The doors will remain open until we run out of supplies, but they often go fast so you’ll want to come early.

The students with the highest number of credits will be offered trips to camp 2011 for $20 instead of the regular $150 registration. Start earning credits today and we’ll see you at camp next summer!
