Pastor’s Notes

Hello!

On behalf of everyone at The Power House I would like to thank you for letting your kids participate in Pizza Church on Friday evenings. It is an honor that you trust us with a portion of their spiritual development.

As we continue through the year please be sure to continue to remind your kids of the activities each week that they may grow in their knowledge of God’s love for them and his work in the world.

Again, THANK YOU for this honor and keep up the good work.

Schedule
Pizza Church continues each Friday throughout the summer on its normal schedule:

6:00 p.m. Grades 4 – 5
7:00 p.m. Grades 6 – 8
8:00 p.m. Grades 9 – 12

Group times are determined by what grade kids are going into this fall.

July Topics
July’s topics for the 6:00 Elementary Group and the 7:00 Middle School Group are as follows:

7/2 Acts 9:36-43
7/9 Acts 10
7/16 Acts 12:6-19
7/23 Acts 16:16-40
7/30 Acts 19:11-20

The 8:00 High School Group will complete their video lessons and begin their study of the Gospel of Luke.

Summer Camp
Several kids from the Pigtown area will be going to Youth Camp in Virginia with The Power House for a week in early July. They were able to go because of their regular participation at Pizza Church and other activities throughout the past year.

It’s not too early for your child to start working toward next summer. Each time you child comes to an activity at the Power House they earn credits. The students with the highest number of credits will be offered trips to camp 2011 for $20 instead of the regular $150 registration. Start earning credits today and we’ll see you at camp next summer!
